Kö‘ie‘ie Fishpond, built more than 500 years ago, is one of the last remaining Native Hawaiian fishponds along South Maui’s coastline. The fishpond wall has slowly crumbled over time and is in need of restoration... ‘Ao‘ao O Nä Loko I‘a O Maui provides education and community outreach about the host culture and Hawaiian fishponds.
Lend a hand: Volunteers who are able to comfortably lift at least 25 pounds
are welcome to participate.
2nd and last Saturday of every month, 8:00 am. to 11:00 am.
